Why is Kangaroo so good as a dog treat?

Kangaroo meat is an ideal source of protein because:

  • one of the leanest red meat proteins available
  • it is an ideal choice for dogs suffering from conditions requiring low fat diets (such as pancreatitis)
  • has low levels of fat that are present are unsaturated fats (the good kind!)
  • it is among the best zinc and iron levels of any meat
  • all kangaroos are wild, there is no farming in existence so they live humane, free lives in a natural habitat
  • the entire harvest operation is government regulated to adhere to strict principles of sustainability
  • Kangaroos produce very little methane gas so are environmentally conscious animals! Cows and sheep are pretty big culprits of producing ozone damaging levels of methane gas

My dogs go crazy over the Roo. They know as soon as i go near the jar, by the time I’ve opened the lid they are sitting and waiting for their treats. These are the bets treats.

This is so true. Kangaroos are so close to being Carbon neutral compare to cows and lamb.

Kangaroo meats are a great way to get zinc and other minerals into your dog. It’s also low in fat.
